Mission trips provide opportunities for individuals and families to travel together to mission points where people are served and ministered to in the name of Jesus. These often, but not always, support the work of a missionary sponsored by Greenville Oaks. We typically have four different tracks planned as part of each trip.
- Physical Needs Track – this provides for the needs of those in the community where we are serving through efforts such as medical clinics, construction, and disaster clean-up efforts.
- Education Track – this provides emotional and spiritual help through workshops and training efforts such as leadership training and recovery ministries.
- Youth/Teen Track – this provides spiritual growth opportunities for children and teens of the area who are served by the mission trip through efforts such as Bible classes and youth camp.
- Support Roles – these provide organizational and logistics work both onsite during the trip and at home in preparation for the trip.
