Greenville Oaks Mission Trips
Mission trips provide opportunities for individuals and families to travel together to various locations (in and out of the U.S.) to serve and minister to others in the name of Jesus. The trips often support the work of missionaries sponsored by Greenville Oaks.

Panama Mission Trip 2018
A trip to El Valle, Panama is tentatively being planned for December 8 - 16. Our group would help distribute the Christmas shoe box gifts that Greenville Oaks will be collecting in September. We will also help the El Valle church in other ways while we are there. What we end up doing will depend on who is able to participate. If there is enough interest, we will move forward with trip planning.
Dates: December 8-16
Cost: Airfare and Travel Expenses (2 days)
Deposit: $100/person or $200/family

Greenville Oaks has been working with the church in El Valle since 2011. The church has grown from only a handful of people who met in homes to a congregation of over 100 people each week meeting in their own building. Greenville Oaks has worked hand in hand with the church members to serve the El Valle community and neighboring villages. In the past, our group has taught English in the schools; taught the Bible through stories, drama, song, games and crafts; worked on light construction projects; conducted CPR and First Aid classes; conducted training on teaching children’s classes; and given leadership training in addition to distributing the shoe box gifts.
The monetary responsibility for the trip would be for airfare (currently $700) and expenses for two travel days. Greenville Oaks pays for all other expenses for the trip. A deposit of $100/person or $200/family is required when registering for the trip. Please, do not let the cost be the only thing that keeps you from participating. There are easy ways to request funds and some scholarships are available.
Requirements are a passport, a love of Jesus and a heart to serve. Spanish speaking is not required (translators will be available.)
