Mission Collin County

Sat, March 7, 2015

Mission Collin County was created to help Greenville Oaks members see and experience mission opportunities where they live in Collin County, Texas. Members are encouraged to step out and respond to the needs around them by spending part of their Spring Break truly “Making A Difference” in the lives of people and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

We will offer two Sessions: The first session will be Saturday,  March 7, through Monday, March 9.  The second session will be Friday, March 13, through Sunday, March 15.  On Monday, Friday and Saturday, we will meet from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. You can serve either session or both. You can be five years old or 75 years old.  We have many ways for you to serve. Projects will include construction, small home repairs, painting, landscaping, city clean-up, serving in a nursing home, working at area shelters, hosting a neighborhood-wide event at Boyd Elementary School, serving families at area laundry mats, serving at food pantries and clothing distribution centers. You can make a difference.

The Registration Fee is $10.00 per family and t-shirts can be purchased for $10.00 each. The deadline for ordering t-shirts is Thursday, February 26.
