If you've watched very much television over the years, you've probably seen stories of how archaeologists speculate that the events in the Bible are untrue for one reason or another. Two of the speculations I've heard over the years are:
- Jesus couldn't have come from Nazareth because no town of Nazareth existed during his lifetime
- The Old Testament couldn't have existed as far back as Christians think because the Hebrew language didn't exist early enough for this to be possible
To challenge these two skeptical claims, consider these recent archaeological findings:
- The first article describes part of a house from the 1st century A.D. in ancient Nazareth that was recently discovered.

- The second article shows ancient tablets containing the Hebrew language. This tablet is from hundreds of years before skeptical archaeologists believe that the Hebrew language came into existence!

Hopefully, seeing these archaeological findings will serve to further strengthen your faith and help you answer your friends if they raise these questions to you!
